The meaning of NIAR (“Nigh-Are”) is deeply personal and rooted in family. Each letter represents the first initial of my name, my wife’s, and our two daughters’. Beyond its familial significance, NIAR is an ancient name meaning “intensely light and hot fire.” It symbolizes strength, boldness, and courage—qualities of a person who stands for truth, justice, and compassion for the oppressed. These values are the foundation of our home and the guiding principles we bring to every endeavor.
